In Natalie Czech’s project, "Daily Mirror," each image becomes an autonomous archive of appropriated imagery. Czech uses imagery from the backgrounds of photos found on internet news sites. She does not alter the resolution of the images, purposefully leaving the varying resolutions of each clip as a trace of their varying sources. Czech draws our attention to the disposable digital archive that surrounds us.
